Wings Fund, Inc. was founded in 1990 to assist and invest in early stage companies with breakthrough technologies. Our current focus on green technologies is based on our belief that the world is on the verge of a second major industrial revolution. Unstoppable globalization and the rapid rise of developing countries have exposed the limits of Earth’s depleting natural resource such as oil and coal. Additionally, growing concerns about climate change and energy security further inhibit how these natural resources can be used. To enable a sustainable future, breakthrough technologies must be developed to transform renewable resources such as solar, wind and industrial waste into new sources of energy and materials. We believe these new technologies will create new industries and sources of wealth that will far exceed those created in the first industrial revolution.
